With snow-sure, high-altitude skiing, Tignes le Lac is one of the Espace Killy’s most popular resorts, where you can enjoy access to exceptional world-class skiing, as well as a hive of activity in this exciting resort.
Make the most of the resort facilities, including a wellness centre, The Lagoon indoor swimming pool and an indoor climbing wall. You can try out a range of activities, from ice climbing and ice diving, to paragliding or speed riding. In the evenings, enjoy the variety of restaurants, bars and clubs.
Explore the resort by husky dog sledding during the day, or snow mobile at night, and take in the stunning bird’s eye view of Tignes and the surrounding mountains with a helicopter trip.

We understand how important location is on a skiing holiday, which is why all of our chalets are situated in ideal locations close to the pistes and lifts.
For a full on holiday, day and night, with incredible skiing and stacks of other activities, Tignes le Lac is the place to be. At 2100 metres, it is the highest of our resorts and is the central village in the Tignes area.
There is plenty to do here both for the skier and the non-skier. Activities include:
A wellness centre. The Lagoon, a large indoor swimming pool with underwater music and amazing views of the Grand Motte, from it’s huge windows. Ice skating on the lake from December to March. Ice diving in the lake, just a minute’s walk from out Chalet Bonjour-Tourelle. An indoor climbing wall and 3000 capacity concert hall, with bands and discos with top DJs at various times in the season, in the huge new Tignespace building. Ice climbing, paragliding, speed riding, dog sledding and night-time snow mobiling. Helicopter tours and heli skiing trips.
Both the Lagoon and the Ice-skating are free, including skates, with a 6-day or more ski pass.
There are many ski shops, cash points, bars, clubs, restaurants and a post office. There is a free bus service running between Tignes le Lac in the centre and the villages of les Boisses, Lavachet and Val Claret.
If you want to be able to do everything, Tignes le Lac has it all.
Tignes le Lac is right in the centre of the huge Espace Killy ski area with amazing runs of all descriptions running right into resort.
Just one ride on the Tovière bubble allows you to ski directly to the start of the Val d’Isère ski area and to Tignes Val Claret. Just one ride on the Chaudannes chair and you can ski directly to Tignes les Boisses, Tignes 1800 and Tignes les Brévières.
There are two large beginner areas, each served by free lifts.
This is a completely snow sure resort, open from October to May and a large area of summer skiing in July and August on the glacier.
